Austin Community School exists to provide Education for Global Citizenship. It is our intention to plan, design, implement and maintain a facility that demonstrates and models guardianship of the planet's resources.

We are currently in the concept phase of this endeavor.

Primary Objectives in Building Green

• Energy: Reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
• Materials: Maximize the use of sustainable materials.
• Air Quality: Minimize negative impacts on interior air quality.
• Productivity: Improve the health, motivation and productivity of students and staff.
